"Time has not erased memories, let’s experience it again"
On Wednesday 31st May 2017 our school celebrated its 70th anniversary.
The feast began with a mass,
cocelebrated by bishop Marek Solarczyk
with priests – graduates
of our school and with our students.
The 70th anniversary of our school was led by students from class I Natalia Rek and Hubert Nazarko.
Our guests were honored by our guest – patron, professor Stanisław Berger. The Marshal of Mazowieckie voivodship was represented by Mr Mirosław Krusiewicz – head of Department of Public Education and Sport. We were pleased to host Ms Magdalena Cichostępska, head of upper-middle school department of Mazovian Education Board, Mr Paweł Lech, councilor of the city of Warsaw, Ms Barbara Krępska from Education Office, Mr Jaroslaw Karcz-deputy mayor of Praga Południe district and Ms Marzanna Adamiak, head of the Department of Education. Our special guests were Mr Sylwan Geua and Mr Adam Kapella from Embassy of France. Representatives of schools cooperating with us were also present: Warsaw University of Life Sciences, High School of Tourism and Foreign Languages, many sponsors who have supported us for years, school directors in our district, trade unions, students and graduates.

reminded a remarkable history of our school.
We were moved, watching the presentation
of the old photos,
listening to the interviews with famous students.

We were happy to hear wishes and thanks of the authorities of the city, graduates, sponsors and trade unions.
The school was awarded with Memorial Prize „Pro Mazovia”
medal for the whole social, public,
professional activity for Mazowieckie province,
which has remarkably contributed to the economic,
cultural or social development of Mazovia.
The Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodship
also awarded many teachers and Staff of our school.
They received diplomas and awards
for their educational activity
and were involved in development of our school.
There was also performance of our school choir which was accompanied by president of Parent Council Ms Ewa Gapon. There was also poetry recitation by our students and our graduates.

After the ceremony everyone was invited
to a treat and sightseeing school.
The cake was cut by Mr Mirosław Krusiewicz,
the head of the Department of Education and Sport.
At the end there was a football match for the cup of professor Berger, which was between students of our school and students of Food andCatering School at Komorska street. The Food and Catering School won the cup. All players received sweet gifts.
Everybody could write in the Guest book, look at the School Chronicle and Graduation Book.
It was a wonderful day that will remain in our memory for a long time……
